Q. What does it cost to rent a sign?
A. It varies from city to city, so give us a call; we will be happy to quote you a price.
Q. How long can I keep the sign displayed?
A. In Burlington, properties that are permitted the use of portable signs are given three 15 consecutive day increments for each unit on the property per calendar year. Properties having 24 units or less are permitted not more than 1 portable sign at one time. Properties having more than 24 units are permitted a maximum of 2 portable signs at any one time.
Q. Where can I put the sign?
A. A portable sign shall be located entirely on private property.
Q. Why do I need a permit?
A. The Burlington by-law requires a permit for all mobile and portable signs displayed in the city.
